Key Responsibilities
- Provide driving services for IOM staff and visitors.
- Ensure roadworthiness of assigned vehicle through daily maintenance checks.
- Arrange for timely vehicle registration, insurance, and service.
- Perform minor repairs and keep the vehicle clean.
- Ensure vehicle has a full tank before departure.
- Identify and report any apparent problems during trips.
- Deliver and collect goods, mail, and documents.
- Update the daily logbook after each movement.
- Provide fuel receipts for consumption monitoring.
- Maintain confidentiality and discreteness.
- Take measures to reduce potential security threats.
- Follow local rules and regulations in case of an accident.
Required Experience
- At least two years of relevant professional experience.
- Valid Driving License.
- Adequate knowledge of local traffic laws and routes of the duty station.
- Defensive driving techniques.
- Previous experience in working with IOM or other international organizations in the field.
Qualifications
• Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution.
