Overview
The assignment aims to design and deliver a structured training programme equipping young people, particularly young mothers, with essential business development and financial management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a structured, context-appropriate training curriculum and materials covering business models, financial management, corporate governance, marketing, and access to finance.
- Deliver participatory and practical training sessions, for about four days in four districts, to targeted youth beneficiaries, with a focus on young mothers and vulnerable groups.
- Develop and share simple tools and templates to support business planning, financial management, and enterprise development.
Required Experience
- At least 5–7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in:
- Entrepreneurship development and business skills training
- Financial literacy and small enterprise development
- Youth livelihoods programming, with a focus on vulnerable groups
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Designing and delivering structured training programmes
- Mentorship and coaching of start-ups or small and micro enterprises
- Developing practical training tools and curricula
- Knowledge of the socio-economic context of Lesotho or similar settings will be an added advantage
Qualifications
Master`s Degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or any other relevant field
