Overview
Responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of the corporate new businesses strategy to increase corporate partners and maximize private sector income for UNICEF.
Key Responsibilities
- Support corporate new business development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and management of the corporate new business pipeline by supporting prospective identification and qualification, drafting proposals and pitch materials, and coordinating internal inputs.
- Support negotiations and partnership development processes.
- Ensure orderly handover of new partnerships to the Key Account Management team.
- Participate in selected business community events and meetings.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination with other UNICEF departments.
- Liaise with PFP HQ and Regional teams on research, due diligence, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on pipeline status, opportunities, and progress.
- Provide supervision and leadership to the UNICEF Brazil Corporate New Business Team.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in corporate fundraising is required.
- Additional years of experience in corporate fundraising is an asset.
- Proven experience in successfully negotiating and managing large partnerships and delivering on or exceeding ambitious income targets is needed.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team is required.
- Experience of fundraising in leading global organizations is desirable (knowledge of the UN system is an asset).
Qualifications
A first-level university degree in Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Fundraising Studies, Marketing or equivalent.
