Overview

Provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance for nutrition programmes/projects, facilitating programme development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a developing country in one or more of the following areas is required: nutrition, public health, nutrition planning and management, or maternal, infant and child health/nutrition care. Experience in health/nutrition programme/project development in a UN system agency or organization is an asset. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is an asset.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in one of the following fields is required: nutrition, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global/international health and nutrition, health/nutrition research, policy and/or management, health sciences, or another health-related science field.

Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or Swahili is considered as an asset.
