Overview
Assisting the FSQ officer in TRCO to finalize all actions required from the FSQ unit timely and properly, with needed analytical skills and expertise to provide necessary support for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical assessments and audits to potential and registered food suppliers/processors.
- Monitor activities and processes carried out by inspection companies and lab facilities.
- Analyze and compile data and technical reports.
- Support programs applied by WFP with cooperating partners by enhancing technical capacity.
- Contribute towards the development and/or implementation of protocols and tools relating to food technology issues.
- Ensure standards used by CO are aligned with relevant standards issued by local standardization agency.
- Identify and build productive relationships with colleagues in other units.
- Follow emergency preparedness practices.
Required Experience
Previous knowledge experience implementing HACCP systems and ISO 22000 basic requirements.
Qualifications
University degree in Food Technology, Health Sciences, Food Control, Nutrition, agriculture or other related field.
