Overview
Conduct a feasibility study for the development of a suburban railway system within the Tbilisi agglomeration.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a comprehensive feasibility study for the development of a suburban railway (city train) system within the Tbilisi agglomeration.
- Assess the technical, economic, financial, environmental, and social viability of the proposed system.
- Develop a detailed project proposal, including scope, objectives, and expected outcomes.
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Provide recommendations for the implementation and operation of the system.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in railway planning, engineering, and project management.
- Proven track record in conducting feasibility studies for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the transport sector.
- Experience in urban and regional transport planning, including demand forecasting and network analysis.
- Familiarity with international best practices in railway development and operations.
Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Economics, or a related field.
