The intern will support the Digital Tech and Human Rights Division in its mission to protect human rights, empower individuals, and assist rights upholders. Daily responsibilities will vary based on the assigned work section and the intern's qualifications.
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Knowledge or experience working with human rights in general, digital rights and with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in particular is desirable.
Recent graduate or enrolled in a graduate school programme (Master's degree or equivalent) or a first-level university degree programme (Bachelor's degree or equivalent), preferably in law, political science, international relations, social sciences, or a related field.
