Overview

Assisting in administrative tasks related to the implementation of IOM Chile communications, highlighting visibility and seeking understanding of the IOM mission among Media and general audience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing simple information, education, and communication materials.
  • Support in creating, updating, and organizing content for IOM Chile’s website and social media channels.
  • Assist with the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of digital communication campaigns.
  • Assist with coordinating with vendors to produce and translate communication materials.
  • Participate in community outreach and awareness activities.
  • Support programme visibility by supporting event coverage and assisting with media coordination.
  • Contribute to the development of content and communication products.
Required Experience
  • Less than two years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in digital content creation, including graphic design, photography, videography, and audiovisual editing.
  • Experience with online communication, social media management and basic analytics.
Qualifications

Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent), or in a Master's degree or higher in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or Have graduated with a university degree in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies or a related field, and if selected, must commence the internship within one year of graduation.

Remuneration
Depending on experience and location, IOM provides a small monthly stipend to help offset costs. IOM will also provide travel arrangements and will cover visa-related costs.
