Overview

The Specialist in Commercial Partnerships and Value Chains will lead the implementation of the Commercial Partnerships model to connect producer organizations with national and international high-value markets, ensuring commercial sustainability of project results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a market-oriented strategy for coffee value chains.
  • Identify, negotiate, and consolidate commercial alliances with private sector actors.
  • Strengthen the business management and commercial capacities of Producer Organizations.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of the coffee value chain.
  • Lead visibility actions and marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure production standards meet market demands.
  • Ensure high visibility for the Republic of Korea's contribution.
  • Prepare Terms of Reference (ToRs) for acquisition of inputs, materials, or services.
  • Undertake frequent field missions to Los Yungas.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned in commercial development.
Required Experience

3 years of relevant experience, including experience in development and management of agricultural value chains (preferably coffee), negotiation and management of partnerships with the private sector, implementation of commercial and marketing strategies in development contexts, and project management, including M&E and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Economics, Agronomy (with commercial focus), or International Development.
