Overview
The role supports national and county level efforts on HIV prevention, health systems strengthening, policy advocacy, and sustainable financing within the UNAIDS Kenya Country Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides technical advice on HIV prevention and service integration.
- Coordinates UNAIDS's engagement with key stakeholders on policy alignment and implementation.
- Strengthens HIV prevention strategies.
- Contributes to strategic planning and sustainable financing efforts.
- Supports community-led and community health strategies.
- Contributes to the inclusion of HIV in emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Supports the use of digital health and data innovations.
- Collaborates to support capacity building initiatives.
- Supports partnership coordination.
- Supports monitoring, evaluation and learning.
- Facilitates knowledge management and South-South learning.
Required Experience
3 years of relevant experience in health programme management, HIV/AIDS Programing, Health systems strengthening, SRHR, Health financing, or public policy. Experience working with government health systems, UN agencies, or international NGOs in resource-limited settings is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Health Economics, Health Systems, or related field.
