Overview

To effectively implement the REAP project activities in Dadaab camps, ensuring quality delivery of programmes and maintenance of high professional standards. The role holder is responsible for maintaining accurate project records, beneficiary lists, and timely submission of reports.


Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and implementation of project activities, including purchase requisitions, beneficiary selection, and record keeping.
  • Support in monitoring and identification of beneficiaries.
  • Ensure project activities are implemented in accordance with approved work plans and with the involvement of partners and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective and efficient distribution of textbooks and other instructional materials.
  • Conduct regular data collection to track project performance and impact.
  • Document and share good practices and lessons learned.
  • Travel to project sites to conduct regular monitoring of project quality.
  • Collate field-based monitoring data and information for reporting and monitoring purposes.
  • Assist in project data collection to generate information for program decision-making and capture results at the impact level.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic progress reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure operational systems support field activities.
  • Coordinate with other SCI programs/sectors to ensure integration and smooth project execution.
Required Experience

Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in education sector especially in refugee setting.

Qualifications

Minimum of Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in education, Education in Emergencies, experience in either CP or Education.

Fluent in written and spoken English, Kiswahili and the local language in the camps and the host community
