Overview
Provide assistance on projects related to Open Educational Resources (OER) and Digital Inclusion within the Communication and Information Sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support capacity-building and policy initiatives for OER implementation.
- Organize regional information meetings on OER.
- Prepare and launch communication materials on OER.
- Develop and disseminate capacity-building toolkits.
- Support the development of awareness-raising content.
- Provide follow-up support for communication projects.
- Support strengthening international collaboration through the IGF/UNESCO OER Dynamic Coalition.
- Organize training sessions on the Dubai Declaration, OER, and Open Solutions.
- Support online collaborative activities through the UNESCO OER Dynamic Coalition Portal.
- Undertake other specific duties as instructed by the Supervisor.
- Ensure visibility of activities through drafting articles and newsletters.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience at the international level in education and/or communication and information and/or a related field. Experience in communicating project implementation actions and results in a multilanguage context.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in education, communication, social sciences or a related field.
