Overview
Responsible for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and administration of the Health & Nutrition Primary Health Care programme within the country programme. Accountable for technical and programme support to achieve strategic priorities and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely sectoral analysis, input and support for Situation Analysis and its update.
- Quality technical contributions to the development and implementation of Integrated Health & Nutrition PHC strategies.
- Strategically establish work plans and objectives, provide implementation support, and deliver planned results.
- Monitor and evaluate project implementation progress for adjustment.
- Provide technical support to government and NGOs, including capacity building.
- Ensure UNICEF and Government accountability for supply and non-supply assistance and programme fund disbursement.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external counterparts.
- Keep relevant and strategic information available to support the Health & Nutrition PHC Programme.
- Prepare required programme/project reports.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and provide effective coordination in emergencies.
- Accomplish other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Planning, Programme Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Implementation, and any other related fields.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Public Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Administration, Child Development, Water and Sanitation, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development and any other related fields.
