ICT Senior Analyst

Overview

The ICT Senior Analyst – Data and Business Intelligence will support the development, deployment, and management of data collection and analytics-based reporting solutions to provide actionable intelligence to mission senior management and support units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform business and scope analysis, gather requirements, and document findings.
• Build procedures to extract, transform, and load data (ETL) from enterprise systems.
• Develop and test Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Develop new Power BI applications to improve and digitalize business processes.
• Review UNSOS Business intelligence datasets for quality, completion, and accuracy.
• Monitor and review dashboards to identify and resolve issues.
• Review existing internal data collection and monitoring processes and help develop process improvements.
• Support the unit in establishing and improving standards and strategies for data management, lifecycle, and quality.
• Participate in the organization, preparation, and delivery of business intelligence training workshops.
• Perform other duties as may be reasonably required.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience working with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI or Tableau) and building data reports and performing data analysis. Relevant experience is defined as experience in the field of ICT, Electronics, Information Systems or other related areas. Working experience with SAP or any other Enterprise Resource Planning tool is desired. Good written and verbal communication skills are desired.

Qualifications

A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) preferably in Applied Mathematics, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems /Technology, Engineering or related fields with 4 years of relevant experience OR Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) preferably in Applied Mathematics, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems /Technology, Engineering or related field with 2 years of relevant experience. Relevant professional certifications in Microsoft Power BI, SAP, Microsoft Azure are desired. Microsoft Power BI and Power App experience is desired.
