Overview

Support the development of interactive Power BI solutions for the Common Country Analysis by designing, developing, and optimizing analytical products.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and optimize interactive dashboards and analytical products.
  • Develop and maintain data models, DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
  • Support the exploration and integration of artificial intelligence tools.
  • Contribute to identifying innovative analytical approaches.
  • Improve dashboard architecture and user experience.
  • Recommend technical solutions.
  • Translate analytical and reporting needs into visualization products.
  • Document methodologies and technical processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CCA analytical platform.
  • Undertake other related technical tasks as required.
Required Experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, data modeling, DAX, model optimization, and advanced data visualization.
  • Demonstrated experience developing complex and interactive analytical dashboards.
  • Knowledge of integrating artificial intelligence tools into Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, AI Visuals, or equivalent technologies).
  • Ability to design and optimize data models using multiple data sources.
  • Experience designing visualizations that support decision-making and strategic communication.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, management and transformation.
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions to enhance user experience and data analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to document processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in data analysis for international organizations, public institutions or development projects (Desired).
  • Knowledge of the United Nations system, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (Desired).
  • Experience working with official national statistical data sources, particularly the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), as well as other government databases (Desired).
  • Experience using Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI or other artificial intelligence services for data analytics (Desired).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python or R for data analysis, automation and transformation (Desired).
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple databases (Desired).
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX/UI) design principles for dashboards and data visualization products (Desired).
