Overview
This role supports the programmatic implementation of the Child Protection development programme and provides technical support for child protection interventions within the framework of UNICEF SEAL and Agenda Cidade UNICEF.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programmatic implementation of Child Protection development programme.
- Liaise and engage with key stakeholders and partners.
- Extend technical support to Child Protection projects.
- Support evidence generation and needs assessments.
- Prepare required documentation for proposed projects.
- Ensure articulation among governmental bodies, NGOs, and UN agencies.
- Participate in UNICEF child protection technical teams.
- Assist in capacity building activities.
- Identify child protection needs and collaborate to design and implement projects.
- Advocate for child protection priorities.
- Collaborate to programmatic planning, monitoring and evaluation.
- Provide technical support for the overall implementation of child protection interventions.
- Work to strengthen municipal and state councils.
- Develop partnerships with government counterparts and local stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to implement law 13.431.
- Plan, develop and evaluate training activities, workshops and institutional events.
Required Experience
3 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Law, Public Policy, Psychology, Social Work, Anthropology, Sociology or Political Science, or other relevant field.
