Overview

Provide operational support for the arrangement of movements of third country nationals, ensuring security, order, and confidentiality throughout the processing stages.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure security, order, and confidentiality of interactions and transactions.
  • Implement operational procedures according to IOM standards.
  • Ensure compliance with IOM administrative standards.
  • Utilize IOM Business Applications for movements.
  • Support national authorities with embarkation processes.
  • Conduct travel to assist with disembarkation processes.
  • Support distribution of meals/snacks.
  • Consolidate supportive documents.
  • Gather, file, and track reporting documents.
  • Collect information and share experience on procedure improvements.
  • Produce regular reporting input.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience with a High School diploma/certificate.
  • Minimum one year of work experience with a University degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience of at least one year in a similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with direct assistance to migrants and/or refugees preferred.
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least five years driving experience an advantage.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/ certificate.
  • University degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology or a related field from an accredited academic institution.

Languages Required
Fluency in English and/or Greek (oral and written) is required.
Languages Preferred
Fluency in Arabic would be considered as an advantage.
