Overview
Provide operational support for the arrangement of movements of third country nationals, ensuring security, order, and confidentiality throughout the processing stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure security, order, and confidentiality of interactions and transactions.
- Implement operational procedures according to IOM standards.
- Ensure compliance with IOM administrative standards.
- Utilize IOM Business Applications for movements.
- Support national authorities with embarkation processes.
- Conduct travel to assist with disembarkation processes.
- Support distribution of meals/snacks.
- Consolidate supportive documents.
- Gather, file, and track reporting documents.
- Collect information and share experience on procedure improvements.
- Produce regular reporting input.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience with a High School diploma/certificate.
- Minimum one year of work experience with a University degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience of at least one year in a similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with direct assistance to migrants and/or refugees preferred.
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license with at least five years driving experience an advantage.
Qualifications
- High School diploma/ certificate.
- University degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
