Overview
The Senior Programme Support Associate will support project development, reporting, and partnership coordination activities for IOM Sudan, including compiling information for proposals and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Programme Support Officer in coordinating with relevant Units and communicating with Regional Thematic Specialists and HQ.
- Assist in project development by coordinating inputs and compiling supporting information and documentation.
- Support the review and coordination of concept notes, proposals, and donor reports.
- Assist in preparing materials for donor briefings, updates, and talking points.
- Maintain up-to-date donor profiles and guidance notes.
- Support the quality control and processing of donor and other relevant reports.
- Assist with project development and reporting capacity building activities.
- Regularly update software applications and knowledge management systems.
- Support the logistical coordination of monitoring and evaluation exercises.
Required Experience
- High school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience; or Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience working in an international organization and knowledge of the UN system.
- Experience in supporting project development, donor reporting, proposal coordination, and programme coordination, preferably in the international development/humanitarian sector.
- Experience working with donors relevant to IOM’s mandate.
- Experience working with donor funding mechanisms and donor compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation methodologies and the use of programme data for reporting and programme development purposes is desirable.
- Experience in the field of migration is desirable.
Qualifications
High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Political Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
