Provide capacity building on negotiation techniques, mediation and conflict management for women leaders. The role involves developing learning modules and delivering training sessions.
At least 5 years of proven experience in designing and delivering experiential training programmes on negotiation, mediation and/or conflict management for senior officials, parliamentarians, diplomats or executives is required. Demonstrated experience in the use of simulations, role-plays and case-based methodologies for executive-level audiences is required. Experience in political, institutional or multilateral negotiation settings (e.g. parliaments, governments, EU institutions, international organizations) is an advantage. Experience working with women leaders and sensitivity to gender dimensions of negotiation and conflict, including power asymmetries, is an advantage. Experience working with international organizations, including the UN, is an advantage.
Master’s degree or equivalent in International Relations, Law, Political Science, Conflict Resolution, Public Administration, Psychology, or other related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Certification in negotiation, mediation or conflict resolution (or accreditation as mediator) is required.
