Overview
The role aims to deepen collaboration with key stakeholders, providing an interface for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence to enhance UNICEF's visibility and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement work plans for assigned areas to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results.
- Seek and promote new partnerships and resource mobilization.
- Receive and screen inquiries from potential collaborators.
- Scan and scout external environment for opportunities and risks.
- Provide strategic, logistical, and programmatic support to senior management and other UNICEF staff.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of current and prospective partners.
- Expand UNICEF’s network of key interlocutors.
- Develop and implement annual partnership engagement and resource mobilization plans.
- Act as a focal point for identification and pursuit of outreach, engagement, policy influence, and collaboration opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of new partnership and resource mobilization practices and approaches.
- Contribute to strategies for engagement and the development of communications products.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in partnerships, communication, partnership development, resource mobilization, external relations, stakeholder engagement, donor relations, government relations, policy advocacy, strategic communications, corporate engagement, international development.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Communications, International Development, Political Science, Communication Science, International Relations and any other related fields.
