Overview

Provides technical, operational, and administrative support for the implementation and monitoring of Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) strategies related to girls’ empowerment.

Required Experience

At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Social Development Programme Planning, Communication for Development, Social Behaviour Change, Public Advocacy, Social Behaviour Change, and any other related fields. Strong experience in Programme Planning, Community Engagement, Strategic Communication, Partnership Building, Financial Management, and Reporting required. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is considered an asset.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Communication Studies, Communication for Development, Political Science, Social Sciences. And any other related fields.

Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is desirable.
