Overview
Support in the management of operational functions including administration and logistics for programme implementation in Karnali and Sudur Paschim Province, based in Surkhet Field Office. Accountable for management of cost-effective, efficient and secure operations initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective, equitable and efficient operations of the Field office's administration
- Be accountable for providing the correct and consistent interpretation and application of organizational policies and procedures in the management of finance and administrative functions
- Make recommendations when deviation from the rules and regulations may be required, and propose alternative solutions to meet office objectives
- Keep abreast of changes and innovations on all areas of operations
- Be accountable for fiduciary integrity/responsibility for funds and assets including cost-effective and transparent utilization of resources
- Provide required cross-checks and support to programme colleagues and implementing partners
- Contribute to the reviews, monitors performance and payments of institutional service contractors including fleet management and transport team supervision
- Contribute to recommendations on the improvement of internal controls systems
- Support Chief of Field Office to coordinate security-related issues and emergency operations
- Coordinate field office-based staff wellbeing activities
Required Experience
Minimum seven years of administrative or clerical work experience is required. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution may replace three years of relevant work experience. A master’s degree may replace additional two years. Strong experience in Office Administration, Operations Management, Fleet Management, Financial Administration, Supply & Logistics, and Risk Management is required.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education is required. Professional and/or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
