Oversees the implementation and monitoring of the Pakistan Country Programme activities in the field, providing strategic guidance and coordination of programme interventions. Responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of emergency preparedness and Disaster Risk Reduction.
At least 10 years of progressively relevant professional experience. Developing country work experience, background/familiarity with emergency/humanitarian preparedness and any other related fields. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in international development, social sciences, public administration, public affairs, international relations, political science, business administration and any other related fields. A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in a relevant area combined with 2 additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree (applicable to internal staff only).
