Overview
The Movement Cooperation Coordinator is the delegation’s focal point for issues related to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, actively coordinating relationships between the ICRC and other Movement components, particularly the host National Society.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the ICRC Delegation in the Philippines cooperation strategy.
- Oversee coherent partnership frameworks and cooperation models between the ICRC and PRC.
- Steer strategic alignment and capacity strengthening, integrating the Safer Access Framework.
- Catalyze effective Movement coordination.
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive overview of the Movement’s activities, capacity and affairs.
- Advise the ICRC delegation in the Philippines on Movement positioning and engagement.
- Drive cooperation excellence within the ICRC delegation in the Philippines.
Required Experience
- Typically 10-12 years overall professional experience.
- Experience in international humanitarian work at the ICRC or another Movement component (NS and/or International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies).
- Professional experience in programme management.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Computer proficiency.
