Overview
The role is for a Driver (G-2 level) to support UNICEF's mission in Mozambique. The position requires a client-oriented approach, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
Required Experience
- A minimum of two years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
- Existing experience of Cabo Delgado and the cultures is advantage.
- Experience with security awareness and radio use if preferred.
- Previous experience with: Portuguese language, Local language, Vehicle radio use, Security awareness.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
- A secondary education is required.
- A valid driver’s license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
- Possession of a professional driving License issued by a recognized institution in Mozambique is a must.
- Possession of advanced safe driving certificate from a recognized institution.
- Certification of off-road driving is a must.
