Overview
The intern will provide support in the implementation of outreach material, web-related activities, and social media efforts for the Department of Nuclear Safety and Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in logistical preparations for large meetings and conferences.
- Support communication outreach to widen awareness of the importance of nuclear safety and security.
- Support and research of information for web related articles and social media.
- Support in providing overviews, graphic development as well as analyses.
- Draft and publish posts on a regular basis and produce and develop stories, features and other outreach material for use in social media, the web site and print.
- Support in preparation of outreach material, such as leaflets, information brochures, newsletters, presentations, meetings and meeting notes.
- Participate in the enhancement of information sharing or knowledge management systems.
Required Experience
Experience with the design and development of communication materials on complex technical topics.
Qualifications
- University degree in Communication, Design, Political Science, International Relations or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office 2010, which is the IAEA standard (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio), and the ability to use databases.
- Skills in document management.
