Overview

Support the Mission’s digital communications and multimedia storytelling efforts by producing compelling multimedia content highlighting peacekeeping operations, community engagement, and humanitarian support.


Key Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form and longer-form videos.
  • Cut, trim, and assemble raw footage.
  • Add subtitles, captions, and on-screen text.
  • Apply colour correction, basic sound design, and transitions.
  • Create simple motion graphics.
  • Adapt videos to platform-specific requirements.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and accessibility standards.
  • Create thumbnail options per video.
  • Produce teaser clips per main video.
  • Prepare and organize multimedia files for upload.
  • Ensure compliance with file formats, naming conventions, and quality standards.
  • Add complete metadata for every asset.
  • Upload and publish content.
  • Review and update metadata for existing assets.
  • Work closely with the Communications team.
  • Participate in content planning meetings.
  • Follow established workflows.
  • Share draft versions for review and feedback.
  • Deliver videos within agreed deadlines.
  • Respond to feedback and implement revisions.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience in video editing and multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Desktop, or similar editing software.
  • Experience with motion graphics and Adobe After Effects is desirable.
  • Familiarity with social media content optimization and digital storytelling trends.
  • Basic photography and graphic design skills are an advantage.
