Learning Management System (LMS) Technical Support Specialist

Overview

Provides technical support for the rollout and adoption of the UN Campus Learning Management System (LMS). Contributes to the development and enhancement of the platform through various technical and analytical activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and operationalization of UN Campus, including content creation, management, and user access.
• Facilitate seamless adoption of UN Campus through entity onboarding, data migration, and training support.
• Support quality assurance activities and synthesize feedback for platform improvement.
• Support testing for new features, plugins, and updates; troubleshoot technical issues.
• Explore and test AI-enabled tools for personalized learning and efficiency.
• Assess reporting requirements and implement data solutions.
• Review, create, and update user manuals, technical guides, SOPs, and best practice guidelines.

Required Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in managing, administering and supporting Moodle Workplace or other Learning Management Systems is required. Experience in learning and development, especially in design and delivery of training, is desirable.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in education, instructional design and methodology, organizational psychology, human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, or related area is required. A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in combination with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
