Overview
The Human Resources Specialist will coordinate and execute administrative tasks related to hiring national and international affiliate workforce in accordance with FAO rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall hiring plan for national affiliate workforce.
- Develop and/or review Terms of Reference of affiliate workforce.
- Coordinate and manage the publication of calls to attract candidates.
- Organize and facilitate the selection process.
- Manage the complete cycle of contracts for national affiliate workforce.
- Supervise the validity of contracts for national affiliate workforce.
- Provide administrative support for payment of fees to national consultants.
- Collaborate in implementing actions to promote a respectful work environment.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and best practices.
- Assist in the performance evaluation process of national consultants.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Required Experience
- 1 year of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work.
- Previous working experience with a UN organization is considered an asset.
