Overview
Provide expert advice on science diplomacy, contribute to the development of methodologies and frameworks for studies and needs assessments, and support the design of a policy observatory and dialogues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on science diplomacy for events and knowledge products.
- Provide technical support for work plans, conceptualization, project design, and production of outputs.
- Contribute to the development of a methodology and analytical framework for studying science diplomacy actors and initiatives.
- Contribute to the implementation of a needs assessment for science diplomacy training.
- Contribute to the design of an integrated science diplomacy policy observatory.
- Develop plans for a policy dialogue in the margins of the Open Science Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean (CILAC) 2026.
Required Experience
At least 4 to 5 years relevant professional experience with progressive responsibility in the field of natural sciences, basic sciences, science policy.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in natural sciences, basic sciences, science policy, International Relations, Development studies or other related discipline.
