Overview

The HR Officer supports the coordination and implementation of human resources functions for integrated staff of Participating National Societies within the Yemen Country Delegation. The role oversees recruitment, payroll, benefits, HR administration, employee lifecycle management, and employee relations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall HR and administrative support to Participating National Societies (PNSs).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for national PNS integrated staff.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of new personnel.
  • Monitor probation periods and contract extensions.
  • Prepare monthly payroll data and coordinate salary payments.
  • Administer PNSs national staff benefits.
  • Act as focal point for social security, health insurance, and mandatory staff benefits.
  • Manage and follow up on leave administration requests.
  • Prepare HR-related correspondence.
  • Support the management of HR matters affecting integrated PNS staff, grievances, and disciplinary cases.
  • Monitor compliance with IFRC policies and national labor legislation.
Required Experience

3 years of experience as HR generalist role. 2 years of experience in system administration document management. Experience within the RCRC movement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business management.

Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English.
Languages Preferred
Good command of another IFRC official language (French).
