Overview

The incumbent develops and maintains reports for the newly delivered WHO Meeting and Travel systems, providing support to the Meeting and Travel Services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and automate reports using tools such as Cognos, Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across reporting systems.
  • Present findings in clear and actionable formats to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and standardized reports.
  • Perform data analysis and data visualization.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing reports and reporting processes.
  • Document reporting processes, methodologies, and standards.
  • Train end-users on the use of reports and dashboards.
Required Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required for candidates with a secondary education diploma, or three (3) years of relevant experience for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of procedures and practices within the United Nations (UN) system is an advantage. Relevant experience within the World Health Organization (WHO) or another UN agency is an asset. Experience in Data Science, Statistics, IT, or a related field. Proficiency in report development, data analysis, or business intelligence. Knowledge of tools and technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Excel, and ETL processes. Strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration
Volunteer Living Allowance: 2,349.66 TND Entry lump sum: 350 USD Relocation costs: 200 USD at the beginning and end of the assignment if the duty station is located outside the commuting area (as determined by UNDP/UNV) Exit allowance (paid upon successful completion of the assignment): 195.81 TND per month served, paid at the end of the contract.
