Overview
The HR Adviser, Talent Acquisition will develop and implement innovative strategies to attract managerial and technical talent for UNFPA, serving as a strategic internal consultant and active recruiter.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative approaches to sourcing, branding, and outreach.
- Define UNFPA’s global Branding, Sourcing and Outreach strategies.
- Review, revise and modernize internal policies, processes and practices for talent acquisition.
- Develop an attractive Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Support the implementation of an internal talent review.
- Monitor hiring data, report on outcomes, and evaluate talent acquisition strategies.
- Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships with Executive Search firms and institutions.
- Lead and/or participate in talent acquisition initiatives.
- Drive talent acquisition activities in partnership with HRBSPs.
- Ensure job profiles are reviewed and updated.
- Review applications and longlist candidates.
- Participate as HR Advisor on interview panels.
- Draft interview minutes and facilitate selection process approval.
- Actively source for candidates for hard to fill positions.
- Coordinate global outreach activities.
- Foster collaboration and facilitate capacity building and knowledge sharing on talent acquisition.
- Build awareness and understanding on sourcing, branding and outreach policies.
- Foster collaborative networks within the UN system and other international organizations.
- Represent UNFPA in relevant inter-agency working groups and task forces.
- Lead/deliver presentations on UNFPA thought leadership in external networks.
- Research, initiate and manage new staffing partnerships.
- Perform any other duties as may be required.
Required Experience
Ten years of relevant progressively responsible experience in HR management related to talent sourcing, recruitment, branding and/or workforce planning, some of which should be in a globally present company or an international organization.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration or related discipline.
