Overview
Responsible for project follow-up and monitoring at the Program Area level in Cairo, ensuring integration and quality of deliverables. Designs, implements, monitors, and reports on project activities, working with various stakeholders and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement MHPSS group and individual sessions using participatory, community-based approaches.
- Provide surge technical support and guidance to project staff at local level.
- Compile progress reports, document best practices, and share lessons learned.
- Mentor and coach case workers to improve case management and psychosocial support services.
- Ensure timely reporting of project activities per donor and internal requirements.
- Facilitate project implementation plans, coordination, and teamwork.
- Identify and select children with mental health issues for therapy based on screening criteria.
- Identify GBV and disability cases and provide appropriate psychosocial support.
- Track attendance, document beneficiaries, and assess MHPSS effectiveness.
- Refer participants needing clinical treatment using established protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality in all sessions per policies and laws.
- Collect beneficiary data, prepare progress reports, and highlight challenges and lessons learned.
- Coordinate closely with technical staff to integrate activities.
- Embed gender equality, inclusion, child safeguarding, monitoring, and security policies in implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Plan International’s Child Protection and Gender Equality policies, including staff awareness and reporting procedures.
- Take on additional assignments within the scope of work as assigned by supervisor on need basis.
Required Experience
3-5 years of experience with a proven record of success at a similar level preferably in an INGO sector. Proven experience and ability to coordinate and collaborate with different civil society and Community based organization. Experienced in planning, conducting, and facilitating trainings/workshops.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or similar field.
