Overview

The Education Officer supports the implementation and monitoring of the education transition plan for UNICEF China Office, focusing on adolescent learning and skills. The role provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance to improve learning outcomes and equitable education.

Key Responsibilities

• Support programme development and planning, including situation analysis and research on development trends.
• Manage, monitor, and deliver results for education programmes/projects, including collecting and analyzing implementation data.
• Provide technical and operational support to government counterparts and partners on UNICEF policies and best practices.
• Build and sustain partnerships with government counterparts and national stakeholders.
• Contribute to innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building initiatives.

Required Experience

2 years of relevant work experience in Programme Management, Research, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, education program management, education policy, monitoring and evaluation and any other related fields.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Education, Psychology, International Development, International Studies, Adult Education & Training, Management/Administration, Sociology and any other related fields.
