Overview
Strategic leadership for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) across the Human Mobility Hub and its partner-led programmes, focusing on data-driven decision-making and community voices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of MEAL strategies, systems, standards and SOPs.
- Strengthen the quality of partner-led programmes through technical guidance, quality assurance, and capacity development.
- Develop learning agendas, evaluations, and evidence generation.
- Champion accountability by strengthening community feedback mechanisms.
- Support proposal development, logframes, theories of change, indicators, and MEAL budgets.
- Build and facilitate a vibrant MEAL Community of Practice.
- Promote ethical data management, safeguarding, data protection, and Safe & Inclusive Programming.
- Lead the rollout of digital MEAL systems and information management platforms.
- Mentor and coach MEAL staff and partners.
Required Experience
At least 6 years of progressive MEAL experience, including 3 years in a management role within an international NGO. Experience supporting humanitarian or displacement programmes in complex or post-conflict environments. Demonstrated experience working with local partners and strengthening partner-led MEAL systems. Experience with digital data collection platforms, programme evaluations, and evidence generation.
