Overview
The Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Technical Associate will support the project chief in the Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation area, focusing on managing monitoring, evaluation, and quality in results-based management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring the quality of procedures and systems for results-based management phases, with a focus on monitoring and evaluation.
- Ensure the quality of information for corporate PM&E platforms.
- Assist in implementing project evaluations according to corporate standards and capturing lessons learned.
- Assist project staff in implementing tools for tracking activities, progress, indicators, and risks.
- Help the project chief report on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual progress.
- Assist project staff with incorporating institutional guidelines on gender, disability, ethnic groups, digital, conflict sensitivity, and human rights.
- Periodically transfer and update M&E guidelines to project staff, partners, and government.
- Participate in training and organize briefing sessions on internal procedures.
- Support the dissemination and exchange of relevant data, lessons learned, and knowledge management strategies.
Required Experience
- 7 years of experience (with secondary education) or 4 years of experience (with university degree) in Results-Based Management (RBM) in programs and projects, monitoring and evaluation, learning, and data analysis.
- Experience in the use of participatory quantitative and qualitative methodologies and tools.
- Experience in evaluations and technical capacity building for groups.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting.
- Experience in results-based management.
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and report production.
- Experience in armed conflict situations in Colombia.
- Experience in monitoring information collection, writing and preparing reports and technical documents at a qualitative and quantitative level.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working in the United Nations System.
- Experience working with grassroots organizations and ethnic communities, differential approach, gender, do no harm approach.
Qualifications
- Secondary Education (High School level) is required.
- University Professional Degree (Undergraduate level) in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Social and Human Sciences, Engineering, or related areas will be considered favorably but is not a requirement.
