Overview

This role involves progressively responsible experience in human rights, political affairs, international relations, law, or a related area. The primary purpose is to identify and resolve human rights issues.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and participate in the resolution of human rights issues.
  • Identify sources for data collection, analyze information and draft human rights reports.
  • Analyze and interpret data in support of decision-making and convey resulting information to management.
Required Experience

A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in human rights, political affairs, international relations, law or related area is required. At least one (1) year of experience in human rights and/or International Humanitarian Law data analytics or related area is desirable. Experience conducting face to face and/or remote interviews with victims and witnesses of human rights violations is desirable.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in law or related area. A first-level university degree in the abovementioned fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
