Overview
Seeking an experienced Global Risk & Compliance Advisor to provide expert advice on risk management frameworks and support management teams in addressing high-risk issues within assigned country offices and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and expert advice to management groups and risk owners on identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing risks.
- Advise on high risk issues, risk management strategies, mitigations, and internal controls.
- Advise global functions on developing risk management procedures and tools.
- Advise management groups on compliance with internal controls and implementation of audit recommendations.
- Support staff in solving issues related to RM, data protection, anticorruption, and sanctions/Counter Terrorism requirements.
- Provide or organise training and capacity building of staff with R&C responsibilities.
- Build collaborative relationships within the R&C community of practise.
- Provide strategic inputs to country office risk and compliance priorities.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining organisational wide policies, procedures, tools or digital systems.
Required Experience
5 years of relevant (manager/specialist/advisor) experience from working in the R&C function in an international organisation or 5 years of relevant (manager/specialist/advisor) experience from working in the humanitarian sector within auditing, monitoring and evaluation or support functions (logistics, finance, HR).
Qualifications
University degree in risk management, compliance, internal audit, law or another relevant field is an asset.
