Overview
Coordinate projects within the BRCiS program, focusing on durable solutions or resilience programming in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high quality concept notes and technical sections for donor proposals.
- Write excellent reports and proposals, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs.
- Negotiate, network, influence, and facilitate workshops.
- Plan, monitor, and organize activities using logical and result-based frameworks.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in humanitarian/development aid in complex and/or insecure environments.
- Demonstrable experience with durable solution or resilience programming and/or measurement.
- Experience managing consortium would be an advantage.
- Ability to work closely with field based national staff.
- Experience in various staff training and development approaches.
- Strong planning, monitoring and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the context in Durable Solutions programming.
- Knowledge of the context of Somalia, including Jowhar (Hirshabelle State) and Afgoye (South West State).
- Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts, multi-country disaster preparedness, response and recovery programming.
- Experience with project development.
- Experience with Consortium coordination.
- Experience in resource mobilisation and working with various donors and conversant with their technical frameworks and strategies.
- Safety and security awareness training.
Qualifications
Applicable degree in international relations, business, economics, or related field.
