Overview
Lead and supervise the delivery of Protection from Violence (PfV) project activities at the field level, ensuring quality, accountability, and compliance with standards. Provide guidance and support to PfV Officers, Assistants, and Community-Based Workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the delivery of PfV project activities at field level.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to PfV Officers, Assistants, and Community-Based Workers.
- Prepare and submit regular progress, activity, and field monitoring reports.
- Maintain strong document management practices.
- Ensure PfV services and community activities are accessible to all groups.
- Support information gathering on humanitarian trends, needs, gaps, and protection concerns.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor service quality and provide in-field coaching.
- Facilitate collaboration with NRC Core Competencies, MEAL teams, and relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise and guide caseworkers/Officers on identification, assessment, planning, and follow-up of adults at high risk of harm.
- Ensure adherence to national CM SOPs and NRC internal guidelines.
- Conduct regular case conferencing and ensure high-risk cases receive immediate attention.
- Review case plans, monitor follow-ups, and ensure cases are closed within required timeframes.
- Coordinate with external agencies for referrals and multi-sectoral support.
- Support quality data entry, case documentation, and secure filing practices.
- Oversee cash distribution processes.
- Ensure effective two-way communication in PfV Community Resource Center.
- Oversee dissemination of information on rights, services, and available assistance.
- Support Officers to collect feedback, concerns, and suggestions from affected communities.
- Promote NRC’s mandate and services.
- Ensure community committees receive required training.
- Lead establishment, capacity-building, and follow-up with community/site committees and focal points.
- Facilitate community mobilization, consultations, and participatory decision-making processes.
- Support community-led initiatives and small-scale projects.
- Ensure accountability mechanisms are accessible and appropriately used.
- Monitor site actors and committees.
- Support needs identification and help address service gaps.
- Facilitate and strengthen local-level coordination among service providers, authorities, NGOs, and community actors.
- Ensure clear roles and responsibilities at site/community level.
- Participate in assessments, profiling exercises, and joint initiatives.
- Represent NRC in field-level meetings.
- Ensure proper completion, filing, and reporting of coordination-related documentation.
Required Experience
At least 3 years of work experience with international NGOs, preferably in humanitarian contexts and with a focus on Protection. Demonstrated experience in leading teams in humanitarian settings or in a similar functional area.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
