Overview

The Press and Communication Associate supports the visibility of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan's activities and enhances public awareness of its initiatives through strategic communication tools.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and administering the PCUz official webpage and social media accounts.
  • Co-ordinating and finalizing creative, high-quality content for social media platforms.
  • Maintaining contacts with the relevant Uzbekistan media, drafting press releases, and organizing press briefings.
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of the PCUz communication strategy.
  • Providing consecutive interpretation and supporting media relations during events.
  • Acting as back-up for the HoO’s executive assistant.
Required Experience

A minimum of 6 (six) years of working experience as a Communications Specialist, Communications Assistant or a similar role; Proven experience managing and creating content for websites and social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Telegram, etc.).

Qualifications

Completed secondary education, as well as specialized training in the field of Media and Communications, Journalism or other relevant areas

Remuneration
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deduction, is USD 1390.00 as per the relevant OSCE salary scale.
