Overview
The Press and Communication Associate supports the visibility of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan's activities and enhances public awareness of its initiatives through strategic communication tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and administering the PCUz official webpage and social media accounts.
- Co-ordinating and finalizing creative, high-quality content for social media platforms.
- Maintaining contacts with the relevant Uzbekistan media, drafting press releases, and organizing press briefings.
- Supporting the development and monitoring of the PCUz communication strategy.
- Providing consecutive interpretation and supporting media relations during events.
- Acting as back-up for the HoO’s executive assistant.
Required Experience
A minimum of 6 (six) years of working experience as a Communications Specialist, Communications Assistant or a similar role; Proven experience managing and creating content for websites and social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Telegram, etc.).
Qualifications
Completed secondary education, as well as specialized training in the field of Media and Communications, Journalism or other relevant areas
