Overview
The Nutritionist covers technical nutrition and generalist EcoSec responsibilities within the Economic Security unit. The role involves planning and implementing the unit’s nutrition program, providing technical support, and contributing to general EcoSec activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with EcoSec teams to design and deploy data-collection tools, integrating nutrition indicators.
- Supports fieldwork data collection, enters and maintains information in survey databases, and contributes to the PAM platform.
- Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis on collected field data and produces visual data representations.
- Conducts SWOT analyses to identify response options.
- Contributes to beneficiary registration, develops distribution plans, and carries out on-site aid distributions.
- Supports the design and implementation of various economic relief modalities.
- Assists the Nutrition Program Manager in forecasting, projecting, and tracking the consumption of nutrition products.
- Partners closely with Health and Water & Habitat teams to support hospital programs.
- Contributes regularly to EcoSec internal monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Expands the delegation's network with local authorities and nutrition stakeholders.
Required Experience
2 to 3 years minimum experience in the humanitarian sector.
